About Clarksville Concrete Works

Clarksville Concrete Works is a Clarksville concrete company for driveways, concrete repair, retaining walls, patios, stamped concrete, slabs, and commercial work. We're built on one simple idea: the parts of a concrete job you can't see matter more than the parts you can.

Why We Started

Concrete has a reputation problem around here, and most of it is earned. Plenty of Clarksville homeowners have paid for a driveway or patio that looked perfect the day it was poured and started cracking, sinking, or flaking within a couple of winters. When you dig into why, the story is almost always the same. The base was skipped or skimped. The slab was thinner than promised. The mix wasn't made for freeze-thaw weather. The joints went in late or not at all.

None of that shows up in the finished surface, which is exactly why it gets cut. We started Clarksville Concrete Works to do the opposite: put the effort where it counts, write it all down, and stand behind it.

What We Believe

Concrete should outlast the mortgage

A properly built slab can last decades. We plan every job, from a walkway to a retaining wall, as if we'll be driving past it for the next thirty years, because in a town this size, we will.

The quote is a promise

Every quote lists thickness, base depth, reinforcement, mix, finish, joint layout, and what happens to the old concrete. If it's on the paper, it goes in the ground. If something changes once we dig, you hear about it before we pour, not on the invoice.

Honest advice beats a bigger ticket

Sometimes a cracked driveway needs replacement. Often it only needs crack repair, a few new panels, or resurfacing. We'll tell you which, and why, even when the smaller job is the right answer.

What We Won't Do

  • Pour on bare clay because it's faster
  • Give you a firm price over the phone for a job we haven't seen
  • Leave ruts in your lawn, concrete splatter on your siding, or a pile of forms in your yard
  • Push a sealer, coating, or upgrade you don't need
  • Disappear after the pour; if something isn't right, call us

How a Job Goes

It starts with a free on-site estimate. We walk the property with you, measure, check how water moves across the yard, look at the soil, and talk through finishes. You get a written quote, usually within a couple of days. Once you approve it, we put a real date on the calendar, call 811 to mark utilities, and handle any permit the job needs.

On pour day the base is already compacted and inspected, the steel is set, and the forms are checked for grade. After finishing, we cut joints on time, cure the concrete properly, and leave you plain instructions for the first month: when you can walk on it, when you can drive on it, and when to seal it.

Who We Work For

Homeowners in older Clarksville neighborhoods replacing original driveways and walks. Families in new subdivisions out toward Sango and St. Bethlehem adding patios and pool decks. Military families near Fort Campbell who need the job done right on a fixed timeline. Landlords and businesses who need sidewalks, pads, and repairs handled without a lot of back and forth. If it's concrete in Montgomery County or a nearby town, we'd like to hear about it.

Built for Clarksville Ground

Clay soil over limestone, humid summers, and winters that freeze and thaw over and over are hard on concrete. We build for those conditions with a compacted crushed-stone base, air-entrained concrete, properly placed control joints, and careful curing, every time, on every size of job.
